I was a little nervous because I’d seen people mention mix-ups with reservations before, but mine was spot on when I got there. Everything matched exactly at pickup, with no random changes or confusion. it went just how I hoped.

"Pickup ended up being way quicker than I thought"
I figured I’d be standing around for a while, but it was fast. The staff kept the line moving, and before I knew it I had the car and was out of there in maybe 15 minutes or so. Kind of a nice surprise, honestly.

"good choice of cars when I booked"
I booked with Nu Car Rentals for a quick weekend trip, and the car selection was better than I expected. the type of car I wanted was actually available, which doesn’t always happen when renting.

Pickup did take a bit longer than I was hoping, but it wasn’t a huge deal. the staff were okay, and they went over the options without making it feel too complicated.

Overall, I was happy with the rental. I’d use them again if they still had the same kind of cars available

I rented from Nu Car Rentals the final bill was pretty much exactly what I expected. The taxes and fees were laid out clearly enough, and I was kind of waiting for some random charge to pop up after I returned the car, but nope, nothing weird. The receipt email did take a bit to show up, which had me checking my inbox more than I wanted to, but anyway, the billing was accurate and that’s what mattered...

I rented from them recently, so this is still fresh in my mind. Overall, the rental was okay, and the car itself was fine. The staff weren’t rude or anything, but the fuel policy threw me off. I assumed I just needed to bring the car back with the same fuel level, but then there was some extra explanation at the counter that made it feel less straightforward. Maybe it’s clearer if you’ve rented with them before, but in the moment I felt like I had to keep double-checking everything. Not a bad experience, just not one I’d call smooth either.

"The car was honestly way nicer than I expected"
Picked up my rental and I was kind of shocked at how clean it was. Like, I was ready for some mystery smell or crumbs in the seats, but nope — it looked great inside, smelled normal, the tires looked good, and everything worked like it was supposed to.
There was one tiny scratch on the bumper, but it was already marked, so no big dramatic rental car panic moment needed. It drove super smooth the whole trip, which felt like a small miracle. No complaints at all, I’d definitely rent from them again.

"Tolls were pretty much what I expected"

I had a good experience renting from Nu Car Rentals, honestly. The first thing I noticed was how clean the car was, inside and out, which always matters to me.

There was no weird smell, no crumbs anywhere, and the seats looked fresh. The dash was wiped down, the floor looked good, and even the trunk was clean, which was a nice little surprise.

Pickup went fine too, nothing complicated, but the cleanliness was definitely the thing that stood out most. I’d rent from them again, for sure.
